1. an impolite way of saying that someone or something is not important to you any more:
  • To hell with saving money! I'm going shopping.
2. I do not care about someone or something:
  • She didn't seem to care about me, and I was ready to say to hell with her and walk out.
  • He's a man who expects to get things done, and to hell with what the rest of the world thinks.

Inf. I reject that! (Very stern or angry. Use hell with caution.)
  • Mary: I think we ought to go to the dance Friday night.
    Tom: To hell with that!
  • Fred: Don't you want to drive me down to school?
  • John: To hell with that!
